I can still remember my best friend from early childhood: my mother's hand-me-down teddy bear with a blue and white striped night cap that lost all its stuffing over time. So much so that my mother had to help me to re-stuff it will mateless socks.
It knew all my secrets and dreams and never let one slip.It went for walks with me through the nearby field, stared out the window with me on long car trips, and reminded me the shadows on my bedroom walls at night were harmless shadows.
I hope to sew stuffed toys with whom children want to share their dreams.
